本书以生成语法理论为框架，探讨非宾格动词、心理动词和三种使动结构的语义和句法特征。
赵杨，男，1995年北京大学文学硕士毕业后留校任教；2000年赴英国剑桥大学留学，获语言学博士学位。现任教于北京大学对外汉语教育学院。语言教学经验丰富，曾多次获奖“教学优秀奖”。主要研究兴趣为第二语言习得、生成语法、社会语言学等。已在国内外学术刑物上发表了《第二语言习得和普遍语法》、《社会语言学》、《Resumptive Pronouns in English-Chinese and Arabic-Chinese Interlanguages》等论文数篇。
